William C. Beeler
CEO & Founder
Mr. Beeler is the CEO and Founder of Health Cost Solutions, one of the most respected TPAs of self-funded group medical plans located in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
Mr. Beeler has in excess of thirty-nine (39) years of experience serving as an administrator and/or consultant to employee benefit trust plans. Mr. Beeler’s experience includes serving on the Administrator’s Committee for the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans as well as extensive dealings with the Department of Labor and the Internal Revenue Service with regard to 501(c)9 Benefit Trust Plans.
Ms. Travis has more than 25 years of employee benefit experience. She is an expert in all types of self-funded plans and is well versed in IT as it relates to third-party administration. Ms. Travis serves on various software committees and advisory boards, and is responsible for cultivating all vendor/partner relationships. Ms. Travis attended Freed Hardeman University in Henderson, TN.
Bo is the Director of Sales for Health Cost Solutions. He has worked in the benefits industry for over ten years. Bo has specialized in working with governmental entities from small municipalities to larger metropolitan areas and states. In addition to his position at Health Cost Solutions, Bo serves on the Metro Council in Nashville and is a member of the House in the Tennessee General Assembly.
Bo and his wife Chastity, along with their sons Parker (8) and Brady (6), live in the Newsom Station area of Bellevue. Bo graduated from David Lipscomb University in 1992 with a bachelor's degree in Political Science. He earned his law degree from Nashville School of Law in 2003. The Mitchells are members of Crosspoint Church in Bellevue.
Director of Sales & Marketing
Paul is the Director of Marketing and Sales for Health Cost Solutions. He has more than 30 years of employee benefits experience, focusing primarily in the self-funding marketplace. Before joining the Health Cost Solutions team, Heard worked in the reinsurance and consulting markets in a variety of senior leadership capacities.
A graduate of Indiana State University, Paul began his career on the carrier side before transitioning into ancillary products sales and later serving as a Vice President with one of the nation’s largest brokerage firms. This experience has enabled him to connect with all facets of the self-funded marketplace, leading to his 2012 selection as the State Legislative Chairman for the state of Tennessee.
Vice President of Sales & Marketing
David Cheek is a high-achieving sales executive with a proven track record of building start-ups from the ground up, turning around underperforming business units, and growing market share for established market leaders like HCS. He has spent almost 25 years in the insurance business, about one third of that in the role of VP of Sales for several Fortune 500 companies including Coventry Healthcare and Pan-American Life, and Director of Sales for an Anthem company, Unicare. Over the years, he has planned, developed, and executed highly effective B2B sales strategies that have resulted in triple digit revenue increases. In addition to his experience with employee benefits, he has his Series 7 and 66 securities licenses and was an independent financial advisor with Edward Jones, as well as been the owner, or co-owner, of several successful businesses.
David recently relocated from Frisco, TX, where he was actively involved in the Frisco Chamber of Commerce, several local charities, and his church, leading a Men’s Bible Study and facilitating several Marriage Enrichment classes with his spouse of over 23 years. He is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University in East Texas, where he was a 3-year letterman on the football team, an honor student, and a charter member of the Sigma Chi fraternity chapter.
David is also a public speaker and published author of a best-selling book, Got Passion? Of all his accomplishments, he will say that the most valuable, and rewarding, thing he has ever done, or ever will do, is to love and honor his wife, Gina, and be the best father to his kids, Anjelica, Scott, and Sabrina.
Senior Sales Consultant
Mark Robertson is a seasoned professional with more than 30 years of experience and a proven track record of success in the employee benefits industry. His areas of expertise include Self-Funded and Level Funded plans, along with HSA/FSA/HRA and consulting design, among many others. At Health Cost Solutions, Mark helps brokers and agencies find innovative solutions through HCS’s vast product platform.
Prior to joining HCS, Mark served as a Vice President of Sales for a third party administrator in the Dallas-Ft. Worth market. He also served as a Senior Sales Representative for Blue Cross Blue Shield of TX for 11 years. Mark is a graduate of Western Kentucky University where he earned his degree in Healthcare Management.
